Yavarum Kelir : Yavarum Kelir’ has now got one more highlight. The Kamal Haasan starrer directed by K S Ravikumar and produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin for Red Giant Movies will have Madhavan in a key role.
A full-length comedy film, ‘Yavarum Kelir’ brings together Kamal Haasan and Madhavan after ‘Anbe Sivam’. Madhavan, who is busy in Bollywood with back to back releases, is coming to Tamil again with this movie, after ‘Guru En Aalu’.
Trisha plays the heroine. It is said another top actress will also be roped in for the mega-budget venture which will go on floors by April and hit screens tentatively for Deepavali. “Madhavan’s role will be a memorable one,” sources say.

“Acting in ‘Raavan’ is like being part of three Mani Ratnam projects,” says Vikram. And the ‘Chiyaan’ has a valid reason to justify his claim. “Because, each and every scene is being shot thrice,” he says.
“I play the hero in the Tamil version and villain in the Hindi version. And the other version is Telugu which too is being shot simultaneously. So I feel like doing three Mani films,” the National Award winning actor explains.

Vijay is wrapping up his 50th film ‘Sura’ soon and will immediately start his next. There were enough speculations as to who will direct Vijay after ‘Sura’. There were three names of prominent directors doing the rounds. ‘Jayam’ Raja had already narrated a story to Vijay and was ready to roll. Another one was Siddique who influenced Vijay for a remake of his recent super hit in Malayalam ‘Bodyguard’. Siddique was the one who gave the evergreen comedy hit ‘Friends’ for Vijay.

Super Star Rajinikanth is very likely to do a sequel to the biggest Tamil grosser ever, his own ‘Chandramukhi’ if the buzz is right. ‘Chandramukhi’ was the Tamil remake of the Kannada hit ‘Aaptha Mitra’ directed by P. Vasu. Recently director Vasu released the sequel to ‘Aaptha Mithra’ as ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ starring the same Vishnuvaradhan and is setting the box office on fire. Released last Friday, ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ is taking Karnataka by storm and is well on its way to become the biggest ever hit in Kannada film history.
According to reliable sources in Bangalore, Rajinikanth will be in Bangalore and watching the film along with the audience in one of the theatres sometime in the third week of ‘Aptha Rakshaka’. Rajini is said to have liked the mystic elements in the film talking about Yogis living in the Himalayas which were picked from the book ‘Himalaya Mahatmara Sannidhiyalli’.
Director P Vasu had indicated before that he will definitely make ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ in Tamil and his only choice will be the super star. There is even news saying the film will be called ‘Vettaiyan’ in Tamil.
