Aish Ashes Rajini !!
Endhiran went in for censor certification and has been given a U certificate. And, interestingly, the Censor Board officials did not advocate any cuts. With the film being certified, all hurdles for its release during the month of September has been crossed.
Endhiran, which stars Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai, has been directed by Shankar and produced by Sun Pictures’ Kalanidhi Maran. AR Rahman has scored the music for this film.
Rajinikanth recalled the first shot for Enhiran, which was filmed in Machu Pichu. The Superstar said that when Raju Sundaram gave him some very difficult dance movements he was skeptical about it and rehearsed until Aishwarya Rai came to the sets the next day. When the actress came in, she just asked to see the dance movements and immediately agreed to go for a take without insisting on a single rehearsal. Finally, director Shankar and Raju Sundaram decided to go for a rehearsal and the shot was completed in a single take. Rajini said that he was surprised that Ash could dance such difficult steps without a rehearsal
Touted as Asia's costliest movie, Endhiran's release is coupled with very high expectations. The film's posters and stills screaming with extravagance, we can only speculate that the movie will break all the records of this particular genre and dwarf any other film to come. While there is no doubt that this is the closest we have ever been to Hollywood's sci-fi standards, we still have a long way to go…
