Amala Paul: The Keralite damsel on the big league

Actress Amala Paul seems to be going places. Her excellent performance in Mynaa, which came in for praise from different sections of the society, seems to have catapulted the actress to the big league.

The actress, who has already signed up to do a film with Chiyaan Vikram which is to be directed by Vijay of Madrasapattinam fame, is now a part of Lingusamy's next project Vettai too.  Amala Paul is the new Malayalee girl making waves in Kollywood after a disastrous debut with Sindhu Samaveli. But Mynaa came along and she chirped her way up the ladder.

Later Madhrasapattinam Vijay gave her a big break in his under production Deiva Magan , a Kollywood adaptation of the critically acclaimed Hollywood I'm Sam where she plays Vikram's wife. Now Amlaa is peaking as Lingusamy has taken her as his heroine opposite Arya in forthcoming Vettai, which also has Madhavan and Sameera Reddy in pivotal roles.
Amla entering as replacement for Anushka in Lingusamy camp is another feather on her cap.

If sources in the industry are to be believed, the actress is also on the verge of signing another big project, the announcement of which is to be made soon. But these aren't the only reasons why the actress is smiling. Her film Mynaa seems to have earned the appreciation of both the top stars of Kollywood. Earlier, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan had appreciated the film and now, it seems even the Superstar has been impressed by it. "I believe Rajini sir was really impressed with the film. He sent me a bouquet of flowers as a token of his appreciation. I'm so happy," says the actress, chirpily.
