Dia Mirza Clarifies !!

The pretty Dia Mirza has got into the limelight lately, but for all the wrong reasons dragging her into controversies. It seems she has had it enough and finally speaks out about all the rumors at once. Here’s what she has to say.

Firstly she was accused of being unprofessional by denying a walk on the ramp to promote her upcoming film, Acid Factory. Dia said, “I had not committed to walk for the designer, but only to attend a party hosted the previous evening, which I did. It’s unfair to make me look unprofessional. It was a very wrongly maligned story, but I think people stoop to all kinds of levels to promote their films.”

Secondly, the rumors about her co-star Irrfan Khan kissed her on the lips instead of cheeks, has annoyed Dia. She says, “It was absolute rubbish. Irrfan would never do anything that would be considered inappropriate in any situation.”

She adds further, “He did improvise in a scene, I was surprised, but it was not something I got upset about or created a scene about. Even today, I maintain that he had done nothing to disrespect me, or upset me.”

Last but not the least; where everyone in the B-land wants to be a part of Karan Johar’s film, Dia declined the offer made to her in KJo’s “I Hate Love Stories”.

Rumors are she denied because she was offered a cameo role. Dia clarifies, “The story that I had signed a contract and then backed out — that was absolutely wrong. I heard the script, and I didn’t think I suited the part.”

Well Dia, it’s good to stand up for oneself, but too much of “acid” might sometimes not be good either!
