Endhiran smashes all the Box office record ! Hot

Robot (Endhiran), one of the biggest indian  movie of Tamil superstar Rajinikanth being the most expensive Indian movie till date has broken all records at the Box-office as the revenue is being drawn incredibly.

As expected, Endhiran, the Robot has done massive business in the first weekend of its release. While the Robot film has a tepid response for its Hindi version in India, the Tamil version Endhiran performed in a stunning manner with box office collection reported to top Rs 100 crore in its first weekend.
Setting a huge recording for a Tamil film which was also dubbed into Telugu and Hindi, the Rajnikanth juggernaut Endhiran (Robot) grossed over the weekend an estimated $1.56 million in North America.

Early indications are that all three versions put together will gross nearly Rs 50 Crore in the long run
UK Box-Office
At the UK box-office Enthiran has debuted at No. 14 position. In its opening weekend, the film has collected £ 2,77,918 [approx. Rs. 1.96 crores] on 43 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 6,463. It is the best ever opening for a Tamil film in UK.

Robot [Hindi] has debuted at No. 21 position. In its opening weekend, the film has collected £ 61,153 [approx. Rs. 43.17 lacs] on 42 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 1,456.

US Box-Office
At the US box-office Enthiran has debuted at No. 12 position. In its opening weekend, the film has collected $ 15,20,108 [approx. Rs. 6.81 crores] on 64 screens, with the per screen average working out to $ 23,752. It is the best ever opening by a Tamil film in US.
Robo [Telugu] has debuted at No. 17 position. In its opening weekend, the film has collected $ 4,81,680 [approx. Rs. 2.16 crores] on 36 screens, with the per screen average working out to $ 13,380. It is the best ever opening for a film dubbed into Telugu in US.
Robot [Hindi] has debuted at No. 34 position. In its opening weekend, the film has collected $ 1,64,390 [approx. Rs. 73.58 lacs] on 39 screens, with the per screen average working out to $ 4,215.

The biggest Indian grosser of all time, 3 Idiots, earned a total nett amount of Rs202 crores from box office receipts. Endhiran seems set to break that record, mainly due to Rajinikanth’s appeal that goes beyond south India to many parts of the world, all of where the film has reportedly opened to packed houses. Screens in the US, Europe, Japan and Malaysia are all seeing unprecedented crowds for an Indian film, even Asian films.
