Earlier they were only "good friends." Ahem. Presently, they've graduated to being close friends. And have thrown all that (star) caution to the winds and are superbly flaunting their relationship. Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza, that is. The romantic twosome who have been steadily savouring a romantic relationship spread silently over the years has always maintained a safe distance in public. Until now, that is.

Nine years and millions of speculations later, the Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'souza love story is all set to find its 'happily ever after' ending. The actors who met during their debut film Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2003 will tie the knot in February 2012. According to sources, the date has been set for February 4.

Recent reports seem to suggest that Riteish and Genelia have already started preparing for a February wedding. Not only have the booked the Hyatt Regency but the tentative guest list is also ready. The guest list will have only family and close friends including the Bachchans, Boman Irani and Sajid Khan.

After years of speculation Riteish and Genelia have finally decided to settle down.

While Ritiesh has Bachchans, Boman Irani, Imran Khan, Sajid Khan, Rana Daggubatti, Abbas Tyrewala and Ram Gopal Varma on his guest list, Genelia’s guest list includes friends from Bollywood and south Indian film industry as the source revealed, “She will invite her ‘Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na’ co-star Imran Khan and the director Abbas Tyrewala. Her latest Telugu co-star Rana Daggubatti will also be on the guest list.”

Buzz has it that Riteish’s parents have no objection on Genelia’s acting career post her marriage.
