King joins Don and Autodriver for Pongal
The runaway Telugu hit, Magadheera will not be remade in Tamil. As if to put an end to the speculations of a possible remake, an announcement about the release of the movie’s dubbed version in Tamil has been made recently. Accordingly Magadheera will be dubbed in Tamil and released for Pongal 2010. Pongal will also see Vijay’s Vettaikaran and Ajith’s Asal pitted against each other.
Magadheera will soon be dubbed in Tamil as Maaveeran, which was also the title of a popular yesteryear Rajinikanth film. Though there were many offers to remake the film in Tamil, the producers decided against it as they felt that recreating the grandeur and special effects would be an impossible task.
Earlier it was rumored that Magadheera would be made in Tamil with big names being associated with it.
