Kajal Agarwal's debut film was Lakshmi Kalayam(2007) by director Teja. Kajal came in to the limelight after her splendid performance in Chandamama( 2007) opposite Navadeep. In 2008 some of her Tamil films like Pourudu and Pazhani were dubbed into Telugu.
In Magadheera (2009) she played the lead role along with Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan Teja. This movie was a great success and was released in 14 countries. It was screened in USA for more than 100 days.
Her upcoming release is Sukumar's Arya 2 where she is playing the lead actress alongside Shraddha Das and actor Allu Arjun.
In 2010, Naan Mahaan Alla, Om Shanti, Darling, Chandi, Brindavanam, and Orange are her releases. In the romantic Tamil film Naan Mahaan Alla, Kajal will play a character named Priya opposite Karthi. In Bhaskar's Orange her co-stars are Ram Charan Teja and Genelia D'Souza.
