62nd Republic Day of India
India’s Republic Day celebrations provide an occasion to celebrate its diverse culture, achievement and ambition.
15th of August 1947, India became a free country but it's political freedom was attained on 26th January 1950, which was named as the Republic Day. On 26th January 1950, the Republic Day, constitution of India came into force and Indians officially were entitled to a free nation and democratic living. On Republic Day the dream of free India came true and finally the dedication of all the freedom fighters seemed to win over the British rule. Ever since 26th January was declared public holiday.
It is followed by display of different cultures, art forms and lifestyle of different parts of India. Song, dance, art display portrays the identity of our nation. This showcases the integrity of India. The Parade is followed by a speech by the Prime Minister of India.
On this day, Indians once again relive that unforgettable moment of Republic Day and take the opportunity to remember all the brave hearts for whom this had been possible. On this day every Indian becomes one and celebrates the occasion of togetherness and freedom. On this day India got constitutional independence but the independence of differences among cultures though blur is still present and on this special occasion it is hoped to get diminished.
All Indian heritages, the different colors of Indian states of so many languages share the great stage showing their cultures, festivals. India shows its strength in Parade. Our missiles, nuclear weapons gets unveiled on this special occasion. The Indian regiments of forces of the Army, the Navy and the Air Force march past the Rajghat. All these superb things and many more others happen in a beautiful decorative style. Moreover, so many civilian honors will be awarded to great personalities.
